Most golf gifts are made for golf in general. A logo, a slogan, a club-shaped bottle opener. They're fine, and they're forgotten by February.
The golfer in your life doesn't love golf in general. He loves one course — the one he mentions at dinner, the one he'd play every Saturday if he could. He remembers one round in detail, years later, hole by hole. That's the thing worth putting on a wall.
How it works
You tell us the course and the name. We draw the layout hole by hole, set the numbers underneath, and print it on heavy matte paper in the United States. Same for the towel he clips to his bag, the hat he wears to the first tee, and the mug that carries his best card.
Nothing here is made before you order it. That's slower than pulling a box off a shelf — two to five business days — and it's the only way each piece can carry a different name.
Why it looks the way it does
Olive, mustard and burnt orange on warm paper: the colours of golf's best-looking decade, when the clothes were worse and the posters were better. We'd rather make something that looks at home above a desk than something that looks like merchandise.
You don't need to know golf
Most of the people buying from us don't play. So nothing in this shop requires you to know a handicap from a hole-in-one, and almost nothing requires you to know his size. If you're stuck, ask him where he played last weekend — that's usually the course — or write to us and we'll help you pick.
